A. Gap In Navi Mumbai
There is a severe teacher shortage in Navi Mumbai. Navi Mumbai public schools co-run 3 schools with 70% vacant teacher positions. Students can only come on alternate days to school.
Our Solution
We are solving the teacher shortage by placing and managing 65 educators in these schools. 60% of project expenses are to be borne by Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) and 40% by funding partners. In 2023 we start with 1 school, NMMC School No. 91.
B. Gap In Panvel
Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) public schools have access to English medium. There is increasing demand from residents for access to an English Medium public school.
Our Solution
We are running a transformational English medium school in a PPP (Public-Private-Partnership) model, with infrastructure from the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC). 60% of project expenses to be borne by PMC, 40% by funding partners.
